Rugby Results from this weekend

As I predicted, the field was smallish because of the glut of tournaments this weekend. The 69 player field was still double tough.

The top 8 players finished:
1. Marc Oleshlager $4,000.
2. Stan Toureangeau
3. Jon Brown
4. Ryan Solleveld
5/6. Rory Hendrickson
5/6. Felix Beardy
7/8. Jarrod Spence
7/8. John Traverse

Stan and Marc had an awfully close winner side final match that ended 6-5 with Marc winning. Stan ran Marc's final break of the set down to the eight but hooked himself. Mr. Brown, currently running Big Dog Billiards in Des Moines, was defeated 6-3 but may have wore Stan down. Marc finished the tournament with a 6-0 bang in their rematch to grab the first prize plaque and cash. I'll be posting some photos soon.
