MPA Tournament Twin Cities this Weekend

Postby Mike Fieldhammer on Tue Feb 16, 2016 12:58 pm

Who's getting excited for this event. Will there be more players than at the MOMA state tournament in Duluth? Will the words "Sandbagging" or "Underrated" be uttered? Predictions anybody?

For the record, I've told many that our team is accurately rated and we're doomed. Honestly, I like the challenge of trying to outrun the system and think we've got a good chance. But I wonder, how many teams can truthfully say they aren't at the very least slightly underrated?
Thanks,

It's going to be difficult. I see some 85-95 teams that look very strong. It'll be interesting to see what the cutoff is for the first bracket. I've always said that the 40-75 teams have it the toughest, but now that there isn't any 25 or less teams showing up maybe the tides have turned.
