What&#8217;s next?<\/p>\n<p><font size=\"3\"><strong>Free Checked Luggage Allowance for Northwest Airlines<\/strong><\/font><\/p>\n<p><strong>* Domestic Travel (within the U.S.\/Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean)<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> o Coach Class for tickets issued prior to March 29, 2008 for travel any time:<\/strong> Each ticketed passenger is allowed two (2) pieces of checked luggage.<br \/>\n1. Each piece: 50 pounds (23 kg) with linear dimensions not to exceed 62 inches (158 cm).<br \/>\n<strong>o Coach Class for tickets issued on\/after March 29, 2008 for travel on\/after May 5, 2008:<\/strong> Each ticketed passenger is allowed one (1) piece of checked luggage.<br \/>\n1. Each piece: 50 pounds (23 kg) with linear dimensions not to exceed 62 inches (158 cm).<br \/>\n<strong>o First Class: Each ticketed passenger is allowed three (3) checked pieces.<\/strong><br \/>\n1. First two (2) pieces: 70 pounds (32 kg) with linear dimensions not to exceed 62 inches (158 cm) per piece.<br \/>\n2. Third piece: 40 pounds (18 kg) with linear dimensions not to exceed 45 inches (115 cm).<\/p>\n<p>Domestic: The following charges apply to luggage in excess of the domestic free luggage allowance.
