Take Care Your Cue"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Equipment Tip: Be Careful Loaning Out Your Cue. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Be judicious about letting others hit balls with your cue.\u00c2\u00a0 I am in the business of selling cues, so I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve got to give people the opportunity to shoot with whatever cues I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve got in my case.\u00c2\u00a0 My advice to others is the opposite.\u00c2\u00a0 Take care of your cue and avoid placing it in a dangerous situation.\u00c2\u00a0 A general rule of thumb is that it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s usually okay to let someone better than you hit a few balls with your cue, but not someone who isn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t as skilled as you.\u00c2\u00a0 Reason? Better players will most often know how to care for a cue and will be respectful of your gear. They also might give you helpful advice on the tip shape, feel of the cue, weight, or shaft condition.
